Our Forensics (Performing Arts) Society is very popular and, indeed, has excelled. Its work embraces 6 key areas : debate, duet acting, oratory, group discussion, impromptu speaking and oral interpretation. The School enters 30-40 participants in the Pan-Hellenic Forensics tournament annually, with praiseworthy results – we consistently produce finalists and honourable mentions and on 6 occasions have emerged winners of the tournament.
In the last 6 years, we have also provided members for Greece’s Debate team (which participates in the World Schools’ debate) every year. In the 2005 World Debate competition in Canada, 4 of the 5 members of Greece’s team were St. Lawrence pupils!
