The Senior school aims to provide an environment in which each individual, whether academic or not, can fulfil his or her potential.
Pupils are prepared for the full range of Cambridge G.C.S.E. and London ‘A’ levels.
Under the overall supervision of the Headmaster, each child’s academic progress is carefully monitored and assessments are made of the levels of effort and achievement on a monthly basis.
There is a teacher pupil ratio of 1:9 and all classes are taught by experienced and well qualified specialist teachers, who are mostly British or Commonwealth trained. And since most teaching and learning, even in the age of the CD Rom and WWW, is initiated, encouraged, organized and assessed by teachers, it is not surprising that St. Lawrence College should continue to value them as their most precious investment.
