Charity work and community service are actively encouraged and we are extremely active in this respect, both at club level and entire school level.
We raise funds, in various and imaginative ways, and every year donate them to 5 charities we have adopted – SOS, Δρόμοι Ζωής, Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού, PIKPA Voula and the Red Cross, which in December 2004 awarded us their Gold Cross, their highest medal of achievement, for our contributions, whether money, provisions, medicines, foodstuffs, over a period of 2 decades.
On an ad hoc basis, we also, yearly, raise funds for other good and needy causes e.g. earthquake victims (Turkey), poor children (Kenya), war victims (Iraq) etc.
